Hi, I'm Keith
Founder of AK 3D Printing Shop
What started as a hobby and a passion for creating unique, high-quality designs has grown into a business built on creativity, precision, and outstanding customer service. I love taking an idea and transforming it into a finished product, whether it's a practical everyday item, a personalised gift, or a completely bespoke design created just for you.
Alongside running AK 3D Printing Shop, I work as an Anaesthetic Nurse in Oxford. My career in healthcare has taught me the importance of accuracy, attention to detail, and producing work to the highest possible standard.
One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been working alongside surgeons to design and produce 3D printed teaching aids. These models are used to train junior doctors and medical students, helping them develop their skills before working with patients. Knowing that something I've helped create is being used in medical education is incredibly rewarding and demonstrates the real-world possibilities of 3D printing.
When I'm not at work or designing new products, you'll often find me at local fairs, markets, and carnivals, where I enjoy meeting customers, demonstrating my products, and talking about the endless possibilities of 3D printing. I'm also proud to have a dedicated display in a local shopping centre, giving even more people the opportunity to discover my creations.
I especially enjoy creating personalised commissions. Every project is different, and I work closely with customers to bring their ideas to life. From customised gifts and home décor to business products and one-of-a-kind keepsakes, every item is carefully designed and printed with pride.
One project I'm particularly proud of involved designing bespoke wedding table centrepieces inspired by the bride's and groom's professions. Creating something so personal for such a special day reminded me why I love what I do.
